What is dyno tuning?
-
Dyno tuning allows us to make adjustments to your vehicles ignition timing and air to fuel ratio, to achieve the most horse power and torque possible.
-
A well tuned vehicle will also improve it's fuel economy.
-
Tuning your vehicle can be very beneficial to the vehicles, that have had performance upgrades installed on them. Air filters, exhaust pipes, and camshafts are all examples of performance upgrades. These upgrades will alter the air to fuel ratio of your vehicle and can result in poor performance or even damage to the vehicles engine.
EXAMPLE:
-
Shown below is a dyno graph for a 2016 road glide CVO 110 Screaming eagle.
-
The Top Graph is HP
-
The bottom is Torque.
-
The Blue lines represents HP and Torque before the tune. The red lines are the gains in power after the tune.
-
*NO PARTS WERE ADDED OR REMOVED BETWEEN THE TUNES JUST AN IMPROVED FUEL MAP.
